NEA Shibly
A Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) from Canada and an MBA (from IBA, DU) with significant and varied experience in cross-cultural and multi-national environment having more than 30 years of hands-on exposure to all-round and best HR practices besides operations, marketing, commercial, and business projects.
Mr Shibly has developed the expertise in formulating, executing and monitoring organization’s strategy, plan and policies on effective engagement and utilization of human resources, employee and industrial relations, training and development, compensation and benefits for achieving total Company objectives and goals. He created an effective and contemporary HR platform while providing consulting services on Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, management restructuring, HRM systems etc. to a few large companies in Bangladesh. As the Code of Conduct Regional Implementation Manager, South Asia Mr Shibly had successfully rolled out and implemented the global standard for ethical and legal behaviour as well as principles guiding the way of doing business in BOC India, BOC Pakistan and BOC Bangladesh. He is also a Resource Person and Guest Faculty of apex trade bodies (MCCI, Employers Federation etc.), management development centres, and Universities in Bangladesh (IBA, East West University, Victoria University, ULAB etc.). He has taken regular courses in MBA programs (major in HRM) as an Adjunct Faculty in IBA, East West University, ULAB and Victoria University.
He started his career in Bangladesh Army in 1977 as a commissioned officer and later got absorbed in the President Secretariat wherein he held important positions. He switched to corporate world in 1987 in British American Tobacco (the then BTC) and then moved on to other organizations namely Beximco, Square Pharmaceuticals and British Oxygen Company (BOC) holding senior positions in HR, Operations, Commercial as well as Marketing. Before moving into consulting as the CEO of pro-edge associates in January 2008, Mr Shibly was a Director of the Board of BOC

Fahmida Mariam
As a professional with over 20 years of extensive experience in international development, Ms Mariam has served in various non-profit organizations in different capacities to manage programs in Bangladesh, Canada, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, Kenya, Ethiopia and Sudan. Over the years, she has gained comprehensive knowledge and skills in development strategies and policy changes, advocacy and profile raising, program designing and implementation, donor interaction, program management, training and capacity building, monitoring and evaluation. She has analytical skills to conduct social researches and intensive experience in proposal writing, budget preparation, grant management, high-quality reporting and financial analysis. Working in multi-cultural environments in different organizations and with various partners/stakeholders has given her strong organizational skills to lead team of senior managers, manage complex projects and provide management oversight. Her experience has given her in-depth experience in Strategic Leadership, Grant management, off-site monitoring, donor liaison, donor reporting, Development planning, Program Management and Coordination, Team Management and Training and Human Resources. Ms Mariam has obtained her LL.M from Dhaka University, and Post- Graduate Diploma in International Law and Development from Institute of Social Science, The Netherlands and Diploma in International Development Studies from University of Oslo.
Ms Mariam was the Regional Director, Sightsavers from 2010 to 2014, responsible for South Asia region including Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Prior to that she was the Technical Adviser with Save the Children Canada, working out of the Toronto Head Office and accountable for program guidance and grant management of child rights, youth, disaster mitigation, and health programs in Kenya, Sudan, Ethiopia, India and Pakistan. From 2001 to 2004, she was an Associate with Monower Associates, a leading HR consulting house in Bangladesh. Between 1993 and 2001, she worked as Senior Program Manager with International Development Enterprises (IDE), Program Coordinator with IMPACT Foundation, Policy Coordinator with RDRS.

Tanim has been working with Pro-edge Associates Limited since 2008. Prior to joining here, he was in GP and Citycell. Seven years of his 11+ years of professional experience is in the HR arena. Throughout these years, he has obtained comprehensive knowledge on human resource functions including career counseling, recruitment & selection, organizational development, performance management & PMS audit, compensation & benefits survey, HR process analysis, Assessment Centre, policy development & formulation, KPI development, general/operational HR, employee relations, Job Evaluation process according to the Hay method, gap analysis, weather mapping, , Org-structure development, FGDs and one-to-one discussion, training and development, both facilitating and organizing. He is a well- organized person with a positive attitude and proactive approach, capable of leading others to accomplish organizational goals.
Tanim has a team approach which enables him to work with a varied nature of team structure and foster good relationship with clients. Tanim has been working on various Pro-edge projects with different clients in different industries, e.g. pharmaceuticals, RMG, buying house, conglomerates, telecommunications service providers, inspection companies, bank and other financial institutions etc.
He completed his MBA in HRM from American International University Bangladesh (AIUB). He has also completed master’s and Honours degrees from Rajshahi University. He has obtained Post Graduate Diploma in HRM from Bangladesh Institute of Management Studies (BiMS), an approved learning partner of Heriot-Watt University, UK. Zakir Ahmed
Zakir Ahmed is a valued team player whose positive attitude and proactive work approach has helped others accomplish organization’s goals. His in-depth HR knowledge in different HR components spans across 11+ years. He is a certified psychometric profiler who is well-versed in human resource functions including organizational development, performance management, compensation and benefits, recruitment and selection and training and development. He also excels in delivering presentations, effective time management and leadership skills. As a result, he has coordinated many trainings for local, MNCs and large conglomerates on technical skills like managing Human Resources, Performance Management, Decision Making, and Recruitment and Selection.
Zakir played a major role in the OD and Restructuring Program for Square Pharmaceuticals while serving as coordinator for Manpower Planning, PMS and Future Leader Scheme. Among other organizations under his HR guidance includes M&J Group Ha-meem Group, Expo Freight Limited, Energypac Power Generation Limited, Viyellatex Group, Abul Khair Group and other conglomerates. When Pro- edge Associates Limited launched Online Compensation Information System (CIS) as well as Online Psychometric Test, Aptitude Test and Assessment Center for the first time in Bangladesh, he took the lead in the implementation stage.

Priotosh Bhowmik
Working with Pro-edge since 2015, Priotosh Bhowmik comes with 9 years of experience in HR & Admin in Corporate and NGO sectors including ceramics and export-oriented RMGs. An MBA from the University of Dhaka, and with a career in HR & Admin, he understands the concepts of continuous improvement in business processes, as well as within the HR functions. Priotosh is adequately exposed to a wide range of HR services, customer and public relations required for project activities and business advancement. His key support areas are in Organizational Development, Employee Relations, Engagement, Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, HR Compliance. Familiar with diverse practices across the local and export-oriented business sector, Priotosh has been playing a significant role in OD and Restructuring Project of Pro-edge with Viyellatex Group, especially in implementing the automated KPI-based Performance Management System, employee orientation and training,

Md. Maminul Islam
Maminul Islam has experience in accounts, audit, finance, commercial, banking, VAT, Tax, internal control and administrative areas that are critical to ensure Accounts and Financial control for a business operation. An MBA with major in Finance, he is partly qualified as CACC from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He comes with extensive working experience in financial control of projects funded by UNDP, UNCDF, European Union and World Bank. His industry knowledge cuts across private corporate and semi-autonomous government corporations including 100% export-oriented ready-made garments and sweaters, hospital, Securities House, Agriculture Development and Sugar Corporations, Rural Electric Board etc. In addition, he has acumen in office administrative matters. At Pro-edge, Maminul plays the key role in preparing Financial Statements and related reporting, Income Tax & VAT, Auditing, Internal Control, Banking and all Commercial matters.

Abir Hossain
A post-graduate in Management, Abir has attended a few trainings to equip himself with contemporary HR and management issues. At Pro-edge Associates, among other responsibilities, he is closely engaged with Payroll processing of management, non-management and workers for clients, data processing for Compensation Information Survey System and carrying out various project work for organizational development and restructuring projects. These also take him to conduct orientation and awareness-raising sessions for project clients on various project HR issues. He has extensive working skills in data analyses and generating salary reports through an automated HRIS system, as well as preparation of HR-finance system reports on cost center, manpower movement, Salary Projection, Reconciliation, Tax calculations and 108 reports etc. Abir has exposures with export-oriented RMG sector with renowned companies like Hop Lun, Mondol and like-wise other Pro-edge clients, giving him a good mix of experience in how to deal with various HR issues including grievances handling, counseling as per labor law and compliance awareness training, show-cause/discharge matters. A good resource with conceptual clarity and committed to quality delivery of work, Abir is strong in moderating one-to-one and focus group discussions, conducting and analyzing various types of surveys for employee/customer satisfaction and Job Analyses.

Ahsan attained his Master’s degree in Business Administration with major in Human Resources Management from Stamford University. With more than 5 years of HR experience in a wide range of HR components, Ahsan has been supporting the processes for organizational development, performance management system, compensation & benefits, job description analyses, employee orientation and training. He has developed his keenness and functional skills which is significant in implementing project activities for Pro-edge clients to implement an automated system and for attendance management, payroll and benefits administration, performance management etc. His soft skills in people engagement and training/motivations are key in managing efficient projects and quality delivery through HR performance improvement.

Holds a Master’s degree and MBA in Human Resource Management, Neaz is trained in Reward Management, Labour Law and other compliance regulations applicable for manufacturing units. With more than 10 years of working experience with Pro-edge and previously with two export-oriented internationally managed RMG manufacturing companies, Neaz has gained experience in maintaining HRMS software, recruitment planning, worker management including grievance handling, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions etc., soft skills training, Reporting and preparing employment-related documents for worker, non-management and management categories of employee. Well conversed with the details of payroll management and reporting, reward structure as per country’s employment rules and regulation, VAT and Tax regulations, Neaz plays a critical role in our customer-centric payroll management service for a wide variety of clients.
